Play the pitch you want by either clicking on the desired key
or using your keyboard (keybinds below).
Play the corresponding note on your instrument and listen
carefully. Adjust the tuning of your instrument until the note
perfectly matches the drone from fortuna (i.e., the
"beats" disappear).

Tuning standard
The frequency of A4 (A in the 4th octave). All the
other notes are pitched in relation to this note. 440 Hz is the
most widely used today.
Tuning system
The system of spacing between the frequencies. Just Intonation
uses pure intervals, so they sound very harmonic.
However, this makes intervals key-specific: a justly tuned scale
in one key would sound bad in another, so all intervals
must be recalculated.
12-Equal Temperament deals with this by spacing every note by
the same ratio. This makes the intervals slightly imperfect
(not as consonant), but at least every key is equally
"out of tune", meaning you can modulate without having to
readjust any frequencies.
Generally, the choice between JI vs 12-ET depends on the
instrumentation. If any instrument is fixed at 12-ET (piano,
guitar, etc.), everyone will follow 12-ET. However, if all
instruments have flexible tuning (voices, violins, etc.),
everyone will naturally favour JI.
Transposition
How many semitones lower the notes will sound. If you are using
a transposing instrument, pick the appropriate option.
For example, soprano clarinets are in B♭, alto saxophones in E♭,
etc.
